Stained Glass Festive Wreath Workshop

Your chance to really explore and celebrate your creativity with stained glass by spending a festive themed day here at our Keswick Studio, learning the basics of how to work safely with stained glass before Kate guides you through how to create a simply stunning and unique stained glass wreath to display in your home or give as gift! Instructions will be given on how to create gorgeous holly leaves, berries, poinsettia flowers, stars and much much more, so that each student can create something truly individual to them. We will also have a range of foliage to intertwine into your piece to make even more of a statement should you wish, or feel free to bring anything from home. This promises to be a fun and immersive workshop, and is ideal for both beginners and experienced 'glassers' alike due to the free-flowing nature of the design. The course price includes all materials you will need for your wreath, light refreshments throughout the day, tuition and safety equipment. There is a petrol station within a 2 minute drive of the studio's location, and the town centre is around a 5 minute drive, but it is recommended you bring lunch with you. Please note - as we are a working studio and stained glass does involve working with high temperatures, lead and harsh chemicals, it is not advised pregnant women attend these workshops. We also ask that students aged 16-18 are accompanied by a paying adult. All protective clothing and safety equipment is provided. As there may be close detail work involved, if you require corrective glasses, please ensure you bring them with you.
