Service Description
A new workshop, suitable for both complete beginners and those who are familiar with working with glass. Come join me in Keswick for 4 hours of festive fun and learn a new skill, creating something that will last for decades and you can cherish year after year when decorating your home or as a gift. During this half day session, I will explain how you can cut, shape and join together stained glass using traditional heritage skills. As these workshops are limited to 3 people, you can be assured you will receive one to one tuition at every step of the process. During this workshop, you can expect to create one or two decorations depending on the complexity of the design you choose...... Will you make a star, angel, Christmas tree, bauble or even maybe a festive Herdwick sheep!! I have a choice of designs ready drawn for you, or you are more than welcome to design your own. Due to the upcoming airing of the BBC TV show I appear on and current commission work, we will only be running 1 of these sessions this year, so be sure to secure your place as soon as possible. All materials, safety equipment and tools are included. Please ensure that long hair is tied back and you wear closed toes shoes, and as there are aspects of close up work, please bring your glasses if required! Suitable for anyone aged 16 years and over.
Cancellation Policy
If you need to cancel, please can you let us know at least 28 days in advance for a full refund, or 3 weeks for a 50% refund. After this time, no refund will be given although you will be able to reschedule to another day if you inform us at least 2 week before your session is due to take place. If for any reason, we as organisers need to cancel a session, we will endeavour to give as much notice as possible and you will be offered the option to reschedule or offered a full refund. Please note that for a full day session, we do require a minimum of 2 people to be booked on. If we do not have enough participants 10 days before your session, we will contact you to discuss options. For a half day session, there is no minimum number required.
